'06 Toyota Prius

By far the most environmentally friendly car, the 2006 Toyota Prius has amazed even its own marketers with its sales numbers. It’s a fuel efficient mid-size car which has roomy interiors and additional airbags. 2006 Prius has a 1.5 liter 4-cyl gasoline engine which has negligible emissions. There is a rear back up camera and tire pressure monitor.

The Toyota Prius has numerous additional features not normally found in a car of its class. It has fabric upholstery, power mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, tilt steering wheel and six speaker audio systems. GPS navigation, nine speaker audio system and Bluetooth voice recognition are available as options.

It has traction control, antilock brakes, electronic brake force distribution, which makes the ride smoother and safer. There are front and rear seat airbags, side curtain airbags to protect against side impact and seat mounted airbags. The cargo space on the 2006 Toyota Prius is 16.1 cubic feet. An armrest in the rear seat folds down to provide more space, but ideally it is good for four passengers.

'05 Toyota Prius

Continuing with the ongoing legend of its name, 2005 Toyota Prius is a bearable compact four-door hatchback. It is an economical and environmentally friendly car. The hybrid version of the car operates on 1.5 liter gasoline engine that works with two motors and a planetary gear-set. This results in reduced emissions from the car.

The 2005 Toyota Prius has a display screen that shows the operational status of the car. The sun visor material has changed from vinyl to fabric now and is a standard feature. It also inhibits a smart entry system with the smart start of the engine technology; this is standard. It has 16.1 cubic feet of cargo space, there are two cup-holders on the side of rear seat.

It has 60/40 split folding rear seat and they can be folded to a flat floor level. There are controls mounted on the steering wheel for climate, cruise and audio control.
